These are the stages of editing my second image. I removed the background, as the white was not as brilliant white, as I would have liked it to be. From here, I brightened the picture, and increased the contrasting of the image. I also drew an increasing star design by the side of the left eye. The colour used for the stars, will be the same colour used for the text. I then de-saturated the image, but used the history brush tool, to recover the colour of the stars. I also drew in more eyelashes, to give her eyes more definition.

I also 'cleared up' the eye makeup slightly because her eye makeup looked smudges, as if she had been crying. This included slightly changing the colour of her eye shadow, erasing unwanted edges, and changing the catch light in her eye.

Originally, I was going to use the history tool to recover her lipstick, as it is the same pink as the star design. Unfortunately when I did do this, the colour of her lipstick did not match at all.
