The magazine industry has progressed a lot, as large media institutions have searched for new methods to innovate audiences. Large proportions of advertising revenue are now generated from websites, and television broadcast. Also the continuous new technologies are allowing publishing to become easier, and, therefore, advance. Popular magazines such as Q and Kerrang now have online features, as well as a music television channel. Vibe has even become an online magazine. Institutions like MTV, Zavvi, HMV, newsagents and urban clothes stores will be happy to distribute my magazine because they are urban institutions, which is a relevant category for the type of music in my magazine. I would want my magazine to be sold near colleges, universities etc, to be available to my target audience.
